Schofield Barracks is an operational Army base and training facility located in the interior of the Island of Oahu, Hawaii that is directly controlled by the 25th Infantry Division and U.S. Army. ZAPATA was responsible for all aspects of the Munitions Response (MR), including, analyzing current construction design drawings, developing alternative approaches, mitigating human health risks, and designing the risk reduction approach.

ZAPATA is providing the Naval Weapons Station Charleston on-site GIS and AutoCAD Map services for the development and implementation of base-wide GIS and associated services. ZAPATA provides data development, implementation, and program consulting services for other military, civil service, and contractor personnel on the base.
